Teresa Louise Baker was born on March 22nd, 1959 to Edward and Margaret Baker, and passed August 28th, 2019. She is survived by her daughters, Sarah L. Noe (Sundstrom) and Rachel W. Miller (Ballard), her son-in-laws William E. Noe and Aaron Miller, her brother David, and her mother, Margaret L. Baker. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward L. Baker.
She was a Marine veteran and served for two years until the birth of her first daughter, Sarah. She was an active member at Zion Evangelical UCC, being involved in the Mr. & Mrs. Class, as well as participating in the parking committee. She was responsible for writing beautiful plays that were acted out in services during the holidays, served as liturgist during worship services, and ministered at Merom Camp to youth from Zion and throughout the Indiana-Kentucky Conference.
She worked for the State of Indiana for 33 years before her retirement from the Department of Child Services in March 2019.
She loved everything involving Christmas and being outdoors. In the last stages of her life, she also enjoyed playing with Legos and displaying what she had made to friends and family. Visitation will be held on September 6th, beginning at 4pm with the service starting at 6pm. Instead of flowers, the family requests that you donate to the American Cancer Society or to the Abbie Hunt Bryce Hospice Home.

Enjoyed working with her at the State offices. She was smart, funny and a little quirky. My condolences to her daughters and family. May her memory be eternal.
